On this trip, we'll head down to the Chester Weir where a set of steps designed for fish to pass up river have also created an excellent play spot for kayakers! Under the guidance of expert instructors, you'll have a taster for what white water kayaking is all about. This session is designed to be as fun and safe as possible, while giving you a perfect introduction to white water. You Should Bring... On a Whitewater Kayaking Experience, please bring a bathing suit to wear beneath your wetsuit, a towel to dry off afterwards, and something warm to jump right into. You will get WET. All of our activities require participants to wear footwear throughout, so it is essential that you bring a spare pair of shoes so that you can wear one on the river and the other on the way home. Note flipflops and sliders are not acceptible footwear for our activities. We Will Provide... -Boats. Our Kayaks are the most accessible on the market! They're super stable and fun, high performance inflatable boats made from a high grade material. They give you the freedom to move around and sit however you feel comfortable, while being super easy to control and get up to speed. -Paddles -Wetsuits -Helmets -Life Jackets -Highly experienced Instructors to help you out! -Under 18's must be accompanied on the session by a parent. -Minimum age limit to paddle your own kayak is 12. - 8-11's can take part only if they are in a tandem kayak with an experienced whitewater kayaker. Cancellation policy: Please us know as soon as you can! More than 10 days before the activity: A fee of 30% of the activity cost will be charged for cancellation but to reschedule will be free of charge. Less than 10 days before the activity: The whole cost for the activity will be charged for cancellation, or a 30% fee will be charged for rescheduling. No compensation can be claimed for cancellation or rescheduling within 24 hours of the activity.
