Join us to experience this beautiful stretch of the River Dee from Sandy Lane in Chester. Experience the serene quiet and beauty of the river around Chester Meadows, take in the atmosphere of the river-front promenade, and soak in the history of sites such as the Roman city walls, the Old Dee Bridge, and the Chester Weir.

There are two ways to take part in this tour. You can either come on the main tour or if you have a group of 4 or more you can book a trip out privately.

If you fancy something a little more 'exciting',  you can even take this chance to get your first introduction to white water kayaking by booking a Chester White Water Session, paddling the rapids at the weir and surfing the waves at the bottom of this 11th century artefact!

All of our Chester based trips launch from Sandy Lane Park.   Please note that this is a mobile operation that does not have a centre building. This means that we launch from a public space, and use a public toilet facility. For changing, we recommend all customers come in the outfit they'd like to wear on the water and bring an XL towel or changing robe to allow them to change out of their wet clothes afterwards.
